# Total cards

The totals cards give a quick and accurate view of each donor’s total donations.\
The **Total cards** display cumulative amounts for each transaction type, as listed below:

This card displays the **total** [**payments** ](#user-content-fn-1)[^1]processed from this donor.

Click the **Payments** card to open a window showing ALL records that make up the total.

In this window, you can:

* **Search** entries using details such as the card ending, amount, or receipt number.
* Filter by time frame via **All Time** field
* Choose how many **Entries** to show per page
* **Filter** by payment status. By default, the list displays transactions with a **Success** or **Deposited** status.\
  Click the payment status field to view the full list of statuses, then select the desired ones.
* **Fields** - Adjust visible **columns**

This card displays the **total open** [**pledges** ](#user-content-fn-2)[^2]from this donor.

Click the **Open Pledges** card to open a window showing ALL records that make up the total.

In this window, you can:

* **Search** entries using criteria such as pledge number, donor name, or pledge amount.
* Filter by time frame via **All Time** field
* Choose how many **Entries** to show per page
* **Filter** by pledge status. By default, the list displays pledges with an **Open, Running** or **Partially paid** status. \
  Click the Pledge status field to view the full list of statuses, then select the desired ones.

This card displays the combined **total** of all cards, representing the total donations contributed by this donor.

[^1]: In terms of a donation, a payment is the money or contribution given by a donor.

[^2]: A promise to donate money in the forseeable future.

[^3]: A scheduled payment is a payment set to be processed automatically on a specific date or at regular intervals, such as weekly or monthly. On each scheduled date, the donor’s card is automatically charged.

[^4]: A scheduled pledge is a planned, recurring pledge commitment.\
    Each occurrence creates an open pledge (invoice) that the donor is responsible for paying.
